TENNESSEE DEPT. OF EDUCATION ONLINE TRAINING SERIES

In 2020, I worked with the Tennessee Department of Education to create a six part video series intended to help train teachers on a new type of feedback system called the Continuous Improvement Cycle. Combining interviews, scenes, b-roll, and real educational settings, I worked as the story producer, editor, and motion designer on the project while overseeing all of post production.

This project was a lot of fun because most of the actual story work came in post production after all of the content was shot, and I worked with my producer Hanna Besser as well as the team at TDOE to formulate a genuinely informative and engaging video series largely developed after production. The series works in addendum to text and online resources for teachers, and it was great to work with real educators with big goals to help teachers across Tennessee. Getting the chance to integrate so many different types of footage and information was a fun challenge, and I think we created a really strong resource for our client.
